Biking along the unknown Sicily

Day One: Catania - Noto
Arrival to Catania Airport and transfer with Bus / Minibus to the hotel in Noto Marina. Meeting with the guide and introduction to the tours’ program.

Day Two: Sacred Hill Tour (60 Km on bike)
Half board in the hotel. We depart the hotel towards Noto going passed the Eremo of San Corrado f.m., the Sanctuary della Madonna della Scala del Paradiso and accross the Salitello bridge, to then reach Noto Antica, located on the Monte Alveira. After a visit to Noto Antica we will reach Testa Dell'Acqua, and then going down towards the sea we will go past Castelluccio,  significant prehistorical village.   

Day Three: Coast Tour ( 62 Km. on bike )
Half board in the hotel. Departure from the hotel towards south going across the Vendicari Natural reserve until we reach Pachino, l'Isola delle correnti and Portopalo di Capopassero, the lowest southern point of Italy with its characteristic tonnara – tuna factory.

Day Four: Tour Siracusa ( 60 Km on bike )
Half board in the hotel. We bike along the coast toward north until we arrive to Siracusa, capital of the Magna Grecia, where a must is the visit to the Archaeological Park of Neapolis and the fascinating Island of Ortigia, historical and cultural center of the town.

Day Five: Tour Palazzolo ( 70 Km on bike )
Half board in the hotel. We leave the hotel and bike until we reach Palazzolo, with en-route stops to the Greek Theater (II century B.C.), the temple of Afrodite, the Church dell’Annunziata, and the house-museum of Antonino Uccello,  with important items of the popular traditions.

Day Six: Tour Modica- Cava D’ispica ( 78 Km on bike )
Half board in the hotel. We depart from Noto and go along towards Rosolini, and then towards Cava D'Ispica, until we arrive to Modica, famous for its baroque style. A must is the tasting of the renowned Chocolate of Modica.

Day Seven : Tour Etna- Taormina
Half board in the hotel. Departure on Bus / Minibus towards Mount Etna, where we will enjoy an excursion on foot to the highest active volcano in Europe. Continue on Bus / Minibus towards Taormina and visit.

Day Eight: Catania
Breakfast and transfer on Bus / Minibus to Catania Airport.
