St. Father Pio & The Tremiti Islands

Day One: SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO
Arrival of the group to San Giovanni Rotondo, accommodation in the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day Two: SAN GIOVANNI ROT. – MONTE SANT’ANGELO – ABBAZIA OF PULSANO
Breakfast in the hotel. Guided visit to the sacred places of St. Father Pio ( Sanctuary S. Maria delle Grazie, Church of San Pio, Cript, Hospital Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza, ecc.) – lunch in the hotel – in the afternoon we will proceed towards Monte Sant’Angelo – guided visit of the Sanctuary of San Michele Arcangelo, pilgrimage destination in the last 1500 years ( Grotta dell’Angelo, Cript and Museum) –  Visit of the Abbey of Pulsano, a locality of uncontaminated  nature, and place of prayer of the Hermits of the 10th Century A.C. – Return to San Giovanni Rotondo – Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day Three: SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO – TREMITI ISLANDS
Breakfast in the hotel – Departure for Termoli and meeting with the guide – board on the hydrofoil towards the Tremiti Islands – Arrival to the Island of S.Dominio and transfer to the Island of S.Nicola for the visit of the awesome Fortress – Abbey of S.Maria a Mare full of important art works – Fish based lunch in a restaurant – In the afternoon we will sail around the islands – Return to your hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day Four: SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO – PIETRELCINA – MORCONE – SASSINORO
Breakfast in the hotel – Departure for Pietralcina – guided visit of the childhood places of St. Father Pio (Piana Romana, Casa Natale, the Torretta, Church Santa Maria degli Angeli, Church Sant’Anna) – lunch in a restaurant – in the afternoon we will proceed for Morcone –  visit of the Convent of the Capuccini Frati where St. Father Pio spent his first years as a religious man – continue towards Sassinoro, beautiful and peaceful oasis, guided visit of the Sanctuary and the Cave of Santa Lucia and San Michele Arcangelo –  Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight

Day Five: SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO – END OF THE TOUR
Breakfast in the hotel – this morning we will enjoy a tasting of some local typical products of the Gargano – End of the services.
